2. Outstation and Long Distance Deliveries

For deliveries outside Bengaluru or to other states, shipping and handling costs can vary significantly due to distance, vehicle type, load capacity, tolls and special handling requirements.

Because of the heavy and fragile nature of clay and terracotta products, it is often not possible to calculate accurate shipping charges online at checkout.

Share the actual transportation cost and any special handling requirements.

Orders to distant locations are therefore subject to offline confirmation.
3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges within Bengaluru and near-by regions in Karnataka will either:

For long-distance or outstation deliveries, shipping charges are shared with you after order placement and feasibility assessment.

6. Packing and Handling

Products are packed considering the fragile nature of clay and terracotta.

Despite careful packing, some minor powdering, small chips or edge nicks can occur in transit and are generally considered normal for this category of product.
7. Risk Transfer and Marine Insurance

Once the consignment is handed over to the courier, transporter or logistics partner, risk of loss or damage passes to the customer, subject to marine insurance.

All shipments are covered under a marine insurance policy to safeguard against major transit risks.
8. Transit Damage and Claims

In case of significant visible or concealed damage during transit:

You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery.

We will help you with documentation such as invoices for raising an insurance claim.

Sabsun Clay Stores does not directly provide replacements, refunds or compensation for transit damage or loss. Any settlement is between the insurer and the customer.

Minor cosmetic issues such as small chips, powder dust, slight cracks or natural variations that do not affect basic usage are considered normal and do not qualify as insurable damage.
9. Orders We Cannot Fulfill

If, after receiving your order and payment, we determine that shipping to your location is not feasible or not commercially viable, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
